Energy exchange across the core

Filtered outdoor air enters the room while exhaust air leaves through a separate path. The total heat exchange core transfers heat and moisture between the streams, combining ventilation with energy recovery.

Recover energy across the seasons

In summer, cooler exhaust air preconditions incoming air; in winter, warmer exhaust air preheats it. Select the unit with the air-conditioning system and operating conditions in mind. It does not replace air conditioning.

Layered particle filtration

Primary filters capture hair and coarse dust. Subsequent media address finer particles and odors according to configuration. Confirm filter type, grade and activated carbon availability for the selected model.

Plan maintenance access

The documentation describes clips and hinged access doors for inspecting filters, the core and motor. Allow room for access and servicing when designing the ceiling.
